My Apple id is Hello, I’m setting up a phone - it’s brand new and I seem to have locked my email while setting it up. I can’t go back or type anything and I don’t know how to get it back to normal.

Also, since you mentioned possibly locking your email, does there seem to be an issue with your Apple ID password? Try the guidance in If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support.
