2020 m1 chip macbook pro blank screen and bland touchbar

Computer sits on my desk and does not leave the house. Opened it up and there were stripes across screen and screen was darkened. Few minutes later i was left with a blank screen. If you are in the dark you can see the difference in the screen when it is off or on (its actually dark blue purplish) when i plug it in it makes a noise and when i turn it off and on it makes a noise. It does not respond to any of the normal reboot safe mode command option R P, shift power or command R stuff - o chimes no extra noises - Nothing. Touch bar is completely black. Oh the caps lock light works. Anyone have a suggestion?

From your description it does sound like a possible hardware issue. You might want to visit your nearest Apple Store and let them take a look at it.
