0 in cell if Negative number

When subtracting =A1-A2 I want A3 to be either a positive number, or O if less than positive. Can you give me the basic formula to add onto the =A1-A2 formula to accomplish this task. If possible give the complete formula as it would be written. For example, in layman terms: A3 =A1-A2 (unless A3 is less than 0, then 0). Thanks... I'm a newbie to this so I appreciate your patience.

IN A3:


=MAX(A1-A2,0)



Formula in A3 is filled right into the rest of the cells in row 3.
