MacBook to ION VCR2PC connection

Hello, I have used 2 laptops (MacBook and Fujitsu), the latter is under win7 - connected to ION VCR2PC (Video Converter Sytem) and it was working fine until something happended in DVD drive, so I decided to connect MacBook (MacBook 6.1 with OSX10.6.8), old one but is still working fine. After installation of EZ Vinyl/Tape Converter from ION Audio site the connection failed - warning :

"EZ Vinyl/Tape Converter is unable to connect with your audio recording device. Please make sure your turntable, your tape deck, or other audio hardware is plugged in and turned on. Then hit the 'next' button again".

I suppose that driver is missing, but after careful searching on the internet, I found only drivers for PCs and not for Macs, although there are several texts where it is written that a driver exists somewhere!
