Hello! I have a new 2024 Macbook Air. I bought a Belkin Connect USB-C 4 in 1 Multiport Adapter. Connected my Apple CD player. It seems powerless and wont inject the CD. USB power connect message popped up. why won't the CD player work. Thanks.

The CD player needs a lot of power and it wont get that from an adapter or dock. Get a USB a to USB c dongle and connect the cd player directly to your laptop. That setup is working here with the apple usb superdrive

The because the Dock is only powered nb the port! You need a self power hub to do that!
