My boyfriend and I both have the Apple Watch Ultra. He can delete emails (Gmail) and mine just want to go to archive. How do I get mine to give the delete option? I read previous posts from 2016, but none of that helps. I've unpaired and repaired my watch several times. I checked the advanced option and selected Move Discarded Messages Into Deleted Mailbox.
How do I change this? There has got to be a way cause my boyfriend has it.

If you are unable to delete your emails on both your Apple Watch and your iPhone, take a look into your account. Could your account be set up differently? Are you using POP as seen here How does Gmail POP work?
If this happens on multiple devices or if you need help with your Gmail account, contact the email provider for help here Google Help.
If this is only happening on the Apple Watch but not on the iPhone, as it is isolated to the one device, contact Apple Support for assistance here: Get Support.
