iPod Nano 7 cracked screen.

About 1 yr ago an Apple rep told me that although they no longer repair Nano 7's, I would be able to buy a replacement. Is this option still available?

Hi michaelgeee,

If you look at Obtaining service for your Apple product after an expired warranty, the iPod nano (7th generation) is considered a worldwide vintage product. In this case "Products are considered vintage when Apple stopped distributing them for sale more than 5 and less than 7 years ago."

Because of this, you may want to look into getting the device serviced as it is hardware related. For service, contact and make a reservation for it here: Find Locations.

Take care.

I made an appointment, and went into an Apple Store only to be told that because the Nano 7 is obsolete they no longer repair them (which they could have told me when I scheduled the appointment). They also told me that all the music I ripped into my iTunes library which has”disappeared “ is gone for good. No, I’m not interested in Apple Music, or Apple anything. Apple has lost a customer.

This isn’t directed at you, I really appreciate your response, but I needed to vent about Apple removing all MY music.
