If you can cancel the transaction and get your money back, I would recommend you do that.

You can request a refund for a purchased item even before you receive it. Read this eBay Customer Service article: https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-items-not-received-refunds-buyers/return-item-refund?id=4041

Since only Apple or authorized Apple resellers are eligible to sell brand new Apple products, that eBay seller's reputation is already dubious.

I suggest that you initiate the return request now. You can send it back when you get it... if it even arrives.

Considered Returning this?:

If it ends up not working out, then request a return. If the seller declines, then contact eBay, requesting that the seller be held countable, and that you get your money back.

Given it’s source - and it’s price - it’s neither “genuine” or “new.”

Caveat Emptor.

Even if the phone is "new".......(it's not, no matter what the pitch might have been)......the product will have no valid warranty in the U.S., so hopefully the product is working when it arrives.

It's most likely not even an iPhone, it's going to be a knockoff running the Android OS.

It may be too late now but it you are considering any other Apple device purchases in the future from sellers who are NOT authorized Apple sellers, you should read the article below. Sorry this is happening to you.
