Billing Issues - Neel from Mauritius

Hello all

I hope this message finds you well.

I am having issues with my payment method. I removed my old payment method (which was a prepaid account that got disabled) and since then, I am trying to add a new payment method and it's not working!

Several times I added the correct info from the card to my Payment method on my iPhone, it says 'cannot verify payment information'

How to proceed from here?

Verify that your credit or debit card is issued in the same country as what your Apple ID account is set for. That should match, else it won’t be supported.


If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support

↳ Contact your financial institution about support for these kind of services. Possibly they may need to enable a feature, or you may need a different type of account.


If you still need help after that, then contact Apple Support.

Else: You could try going directly to your Apple ID account online, and adding the payment method there:

You may need to allow 24 hours for updates to come into effect.
