Email not addressed to my .me or .icloud account is appearing in my inbox.

Why is mail that isn't addressed to my .me or .icloud account being sent to my inbox? For example, I've received mail addressed to hpyzf1qf*@gmail, ilz7xfyd4o*@icloud, and [my user name]@t-online.de. Why is this coming through? Can it be screened for and not sent through?

Hey Want_to_know,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Are you possibly using the Hide My Email feature? If so, the emails could be related to an account you have. To check the email addresses that you have used, these steps can help: Use Hide My Email on Mac - Apple Support

If that's not the case, you can report the emails as junk using these steps: Report and reduce spam in iCloud Mail - Apple Support

Let us know what you find.

Take care!
