iMessage to 2 phones

If I send a iMessage or text message my daughter receives it. All options are off for her to receive. iMessage and sharing with other devices are off. I can’t figure out how to stop it.

Immediately stop sharing an Apple ID. Each person, regardless of age, needs her/his own ID.


Once your daughter obtains her ID, thoroughly cleans her iPhone as follows:

What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support


Then she can “move in” using her new ID.
