Why do ITunes movie collections show as HD when individually they’re in 4k

4K from Movies Anywhere Blu-Ray So I bought a few movies on Blu-Ray that came with Movies Anywhere codes. When I load them up in my iTunes/TV library, they only show up as HD; but if I check the store page they'll have 4K, even Dolby Vision or Dolby Atmos. Is there a way to upgrade them aside from buying a bundle that includes that movie, or am I just out of luck?

Is Apple no longer upgrading movies for existing customers to 4K? Apple used to upgrade their movies automatically to 4K for existing customers. This was great as my older movies got an automatic 4K upgrade. Lately this hasn't happend. I have Once Upon a Time in the West. It received a 4K upgrade in the store but my film in my library did not. I had to purchase a new copy. Today The Departed has been released in 4K yet my copy in my library has not upgraded. Instead I see I have to buy the updated 4K. What is happening here? A bit of clarity would be nice Apple

upgrade or gift a movie I have some movies in SD or HD that I want to upgrade to either HD or 4K. How can I do this. There does not appear to be an option to upgrade a movie you already own. Also, I can no longer gift a movie in iTunes on my PC. What happened and when will this be fixed?

Find films with 4K, HDR, Dolby Vision or Dolby Atmos in the Apple TV app

If you've previously bought an HD film from the Apple TV app, you might have access to the 4K, HDR, Dolby Vision or Dolby Atmos enhancements on a compatible device. If your purchase doesn't have a high-quality version now, it might be added later.
