Midi Regions have missing notes after reopening project in Logic Pro X version 10.4.6 - how do you restore the missing notes?

Hi! I have a Logic Pro X music project saved on my MacBook Pro (15 inch, 2019 with MacOS Monterey version 12.6.7.) My Logic Pro X is version 10.4.6. My project is 5 mins long and throughout the track, there are midi regions that I programmed with notes to make a drum track. I have the track protect button enabled on the midi track overall so I can't accidentally make changes or mess up the midi region notes.

I reopened my project today and I noticed that the midi regions have missing notes in random places all throughout the track. I did not make any changes or edits to the midi track at all when I last saved the project. Everything was intact when I last opened it. I have attached some screenshots. These are just few of the spots with missing notes.

What caused the midi notes to go missing in my project? Is there a way to restore them? How did Logic Pro X cause them to disappear? I don't believe I accidentally deleted any midi notes, because protect track is enabled, so I wouldn't be able to affect anything. I did not change the project file location anywhere on my computer. The project is saved as a folder and I didn't alter or remove any of the contents. I just reopened the project and the notes are missing. Any ideas on the fix? Thank you!!! Let me know if any additional details are needed.
