after installing the 16.3.1 update my photos h e gone from 7 a row to 5 a row. how do i restore it back to 7 a row.

i have avoided downloading the 16.3.1 update because of problems with previous updates. Since it has been available for sometime now I thought I would check to see how much trouble it has caused and it seemed to be ok. Nobody was complaining about the usual screw ups. I went ahead, downloaded it and sure enough wished I hadn’t. I collect watches and keep an in-depth photo log of purchases, what they looked like when purchased, what they look like after repair and comparison to known model. Each model was numbered on a seven photo per line array. It has since changed to five and completely stuff up the whole thing. Going through it all to try and restore some kind of order is a nightmare that makes me feel ill. I have hundreds of watches. My question is- how do I restore the photos in my album to 7 a row instead of the 5 a row that was just dropped on me? Failing that how to I get rid of this useless 16.3.1 scourge? Any advice regarding this would be most welcome.
