I have a huge problem no one can fix

Apple Music subscription is with my Verizon and it says we are all active

but when I sign in Apple Music it asks me to join free for 1 month

it’s also saying I don’t have a Verizon act

So it was more complicated

apple had to reach out to Verizon because it wasn’t linked though each of them

everything on my end looked normal but it wasn’t working. I got a call back letting me know to go bank in and link my Verizon subscription all the way down on bottom of subscription in settings

what a mess and thank god it’s fixed

also Verizon owes me money because they were double charging for family plan and individual on one line . thanks for you help

Your Verizon account is not relevant to anything here, other than when dealing with Verizon. Whatever Apple Music offer Verizon made is necessarily tied to an Apple ID, and it is the Apple ID that has the Apple Music subscription. It would appear that either the offer was not redeemed, or was redeemed to an Apple ID you are not using, or maybe there were eligibility issues.

Here is the enrollment process for the Verizon offer: https://www.verizon.com/support/apple-music-video/

We do not know which Mac or device model you are using, or which MacOS, iOS etc., version is installed.

Check you are signed in (to your Mac or device) with your Apple ID: Sign in with your Apple ID - Apple Support

Then

Check you are signing in to the Music app in the way Apple suggests:

On your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Android device

  1. Open the Apple Music app and tap Listen Now.
  2. In the top-right corner, tap the photo icon.
  3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.

or

On your Mac or PC

  1. Open the Apple Music app or iTunes.
  2. In the menu bar at the top of your screen, choose Account > Sign In.
  3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.

Above sign-in method comes from "after you have subscribed": see the article for more info.
