slideshow options fail to change

since I updated my IPHONE 12 to IOS 16.3 when I go into photos and create a slideshow the options do not work, if i select options then try to change any of the options like speed , the phone throws me out of the slideshow and back to the unlocked screen. it all worked under 16.2 the problem is still present in 16.6.0 It appears that apple are more interested in adding more features that have problems than sorting out the issues they have already created I should consider other makes of phone when the IPHONE 12 is out of fashion
