IOS 16.3 photos slideshow option notchanging

since I updated my IPHONE 12 to IOS 16.3 when I go into photos and create a slideshow the options do not work, if i select options then try to change any of the options like speed , the phone throws me out of the slideshow and back to the unlocked screen. it all worked under 16.2

any ideas thank you Alan
