iPhone asks to upgrade Apple Music after I leave home

here’s the setup:

HomePods and iPhone on the same network, same iCloud account with individual Apple Music subscription.

Problem: when I leave home, after asking Siri to turn off music and accessories and the iPhone is no longer connected to the WiFi, once I start playing music on the phone/CarPlay, I get the notification to upgrade to family plan and the music stops after 4 seconds.

This happens every day, not occasionally. The only solutions so far I have is a) to restart the iPhone - which I cannot do for safety reasons while driving, or b) to go onto another WiFi network, or c) begin playing music on the iPhone before leaving home (which one easily forgets to do).

I tried to meddle with turning on and off the mobile data for Apple Music, but no success (I don’t want to stream music accidentally when I’m not on WiFi).

yes, I tried reseting/restarting HomePods regularly, closing/reopening Apple Music app, logout/login from the iCloud account.

Any suggestions?

Receive same message every time at gym; but, I leave music playing at home, so it sounds like someone is there. As soon as I start listening to music on my iPhone at Planet Fitness using either data or Planet Fitness's WiFi get these messages. All my iMac’s and iOS devices are listed under Apple ID, so what is the deal? They receive the MAC identifiers, so, this should not be an issue.

Please respond if you discover a fix. I need to have a session with Apple Support, but for some thing else; and, they have become very compartmentalized. Transfer frequently if state any other question than what you place on your request. No always, but some thing new, me thinks.

See my reply to above. You agree this should not be happening? I have many Apple devices, and all fine as long as I am on home network; and, able to have multiple devices playing. No messages to upgrade. As above, as soon as leave home, get these messages; but, music stops or interrupted, yet able to hit play again. Messages come every 10 minutes or so of listening when not at home. ALL using same Apple ID, and verified under "manage devices” for my ID Account.

Best, Seth
