Putting an app back on my phone

How to install an app back onto my Home Screen after I deleted it, but it still shows in my settings that it’s there. I have went back to re download the app but that still doesn’t work to put the app back on my Home Screen. How do I get it back on my home screen?

If you go to the App Store and it give you the "Open" option for the app rather than an option to download it, that means the app is already on your phone.

Apps can be removed from the home screen without being deleted. To add an app back to the Home Screen, go to the App Library (swipe left past your last home screen). From there you can touch and hold an app and slide it to the home screen.

Also note the Search window at the top of the App Library.
