Moving mp3 files from e-mail to folder

How do I move mp3 files from my e-mail inbox to a new folder so I can play the songs directly from the new folder?

Hi Antiboise,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities!

If you're wanting to save email attachments to a folder on your Mac, check out the steps in the "Save email attachments" section of View, save, or delete email attachments in Mail on Mac as it details the specific steps to take. From there, the best way to enjoy your music files would be to import them into the Music app. To import songs to Music on your Mac, the steps below can help:

Import music from a computer to Music on Mac

1. In the Music app on your Mac, choose File > Add To Library or File > Import.
2. If you selected “Copy files to Music Media folder when adding to library” in Files settings, you see File > Import.
3. Locate a file or folder, then click Open.
4. If you add a folder, all the files it contains are added to your library.

Hope this helps!

Have a great day.
