iPad Air 5th Gen overheats when using handwriting notes using Apple Notes.

I realised that my iPad Air tends to overheat when I am doing handwritten notes using Apple Notes but this does not happen with other apps like OneNote, Notability and Noteful. The iPad will get so hot that the Apple Notes will crush and I end up losing my handwritten notes.

Hi there KCXP,

It's normal for your iPad to get warm in certain situations. Learn more about that here: If your iPhone or iPad gets too hot or too cold - Apple Support

Also, it may not necessarily be the temperature of your iPad that's causing your apps to close unexpectedly. We'd suggest working through the steps in this support article to see if they resolve the issue for you: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open - Apple Support

If this behavior persists, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support directly for further assistance. They're best-equipped to take a closer look at the issue and provide some additional guidance. This link will help you get started: Apple Support

Take care.
