I’ve seen this problem elsewhere but nowhere is giving an actual answer.
my option to sort my playlists by date added is completely gone despite being there less than a day ago.
running on an iphone 12 with ios 16.6 if that helps

Thanks for letting us know what's going on and providing us with the iOS version. Since the latest release of iOS 16 is version 16.1.1, we recommend that you update the device and test this out again. To get started, follow the steps below:
Update your iPhone or iPad wirelessly
1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.
