When I open the Weather Channel app on my iPhone 13, it immediately shuts down with no error message.

My iPhone 13 is using IOS version 16.6.1. The app was working fine until today. I tried deleting the app and then re-installing it but it still fails. The app version is 12.40.1.

Try and restart the iPhone to see if the issue persists

Hi. I was able to get that pesky red dot to go away, by allowing notifications (in the app). A little counter intuitive. But worked for me.
