How to unlock my iPhone remotely when locked out?

My kid locked themself out of their iPhone for 3 hours now. I cannot log into their Apple ID from the computer due to some type of 2 factor authentication. How can I over ride the lock out remotely?

You cannot. The unlocking of the iPhone to get to the Home Screen must happen locally on the iPhone.
