apple account not found

I registered an apple account on the new ipad. I even received the registration confirmation, I was even able to download some applications. this morning it says my apple account does not exist. on the ipad I already have the user registered from yesterday and I can't replace it. I tried to create another account at the same address but it can no longer be used. what can i do?
