Apple phone Weather Channel

Every time I try to open the Weather Channel it pops up and shuts down immediately. This has just started happening and it’s worked perfectly for years throughout many new phones. I’ve had this phone for 2 years. My location services is on and my background refresh is on. I’ve rebooted crew phone and tried to figure it out myself. Any helpful hints?
