iMessage on MacBook Pro

with in the last 45 days, my MacBook Pro will no longer send iMessages to Android uses via SMS. I have tried everything written on this and no lock. My systems, OS, IOS, iCloud are all synced and up to date. This problem came out of no where...perhaps after a recent OS, IOS update... I can not pin it down. My iPhone 12 and 14Pro Max will send messages to Adroid users... but the Mac will not. HELP
