I cannnot connect to App Store because I cannot update software

The iPhone 6Plus can upgrade no further than iOS 15.7.8 provided Settings : General : Software Update presents the upgrade to you. You need the phone connected to a power supply and Wi-Fi enabled for that software upgrade.
