Pictures go blank on websites after download of newest Safari and Monterey 12.6.8 on MacbookPro 2021

They tend to come in then disappear, turning into fine lines of different colours or quite blank. This happened only after download. It comes good when I turn Safari off and on again. The seem to start okay, some stay okay, some go half wrong, some turn these fine lines of colour, some go light grey or blank, some go black.

Hey st-nsw,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Let's start with starting your Mac to safe mode, signing in to your user account, then restarting normally to exit safe mode. During start up to safe mode, several tasks are completed that could help to resolve odd issues after updating. For more details about safe mode and how to start there, this guide can help: Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

After reaching your user account desktop, restart your Mac normally to exit safe mode. After you're signed back in to your account, test to see if the issue continues with Safari. If so, we'll clear your Safari history to see if saved data there is possibly causing this to happen. Here's how: Clear your browsing history in Safari on Mac - Apple Support

Keep us posted on the results.
