Chegg in app purchase will not registering payment

Signed up for study help in the Chegg app but it doesn’t register that I paid. The app stores “report a problem” is absolutely useless, i get cancel my subscription option which basically puts me out $16 for a month subscription I can’t access. I contacted Chegg and they stated the Apple has yet to release payments to them. I’ve been charged twice for the app by trying to get it to work. Does anyone else have a work around for this issue?
