I don’t like my new iPhone 14 Pro Max

I’ve had my iPhone 14 Pro Max since mid August/23. Today is September 10/23. I’ve had great difficulty connecting with Apple. One of my problems is that when people leave me voicemails, I cannot hear them! I am not deaf! The voicemails are so faint and you can barely hear them if hear them at all! Especially women’s voices, which are softer most of the time I don’t hear at all! How do I get this fixed? There is no volume control on voicemail
