Dedicating imac to a single suite of programs or cloud based programs

I have an older iMac on which I simply want to use my Adobe CC Suite. Would LOVE to lose any program that doesn't contribute. The idea is to have as lean and mean a machine as possible since I'm stuck with 8G RAM. With such a beautiful 4K Retina Display, it seems an awful waste of "pretty."

I also have some SASS programs that I could use via internet...but, my main question is if I can go through and pare things down so I can create a dedicated iMac to one piece of software.

You can safely delete, Pages, Numbers, Keynote and GarageBand. That's it. But the space freed up will be very small and removing them will not bring better performance.

Most apps provided by Apple cannot be deleted by the user. Safari, Music, Photos, Mail, etc cannot be deleted.
