the most expensive MAC STUDIO Panic Attack issue of - M2 ultra with 192GB ram 8TB SSD and 76 Core GPU and 24 Core CPU keep failing on me

I acquired Apple's top-tier products, featuring the M2 Ultra processor, a 24-core CPU, a 76-core GPU, 192 GB of RAM, and an 8TB hard drive. Unfortunately, this system experienced multiple failures, prompting me to reach out to Apple support approximately two weeks after its arrival. Their guidance included updating the operating system and reformatting the hard drive, followed by reinstalling all applications. neveer solve the issue

I felt as though I had invested my money into a wastebasket, given the numerous system crashes, especially when attempting to awaken the system and work on Premiere. The errors were consistently frustrating.

If anyone can provide assistance, please advise; otherwise, it appears that I will need to return this unit to Apple for either a replacement or a refund, as it seems to have a hardware issue.

Just to add to the previous good suggestion 👍

It is unclear which Drive was " Their guidance included updating the operating system and reformatting the hard drive, followed by reinstalling all applications. neveer solve the issue "

This seems to imply the Internal Drive ?

If Yes, exactly what method was used the Reformat the drive ?

Formatting an Apple Silicon Computer is not at all the same as Intel Based Computers.

To avoid the question / answer and question answer scenario

Suggest the User start with Points 1 to 4 and then Test

Still having issues, move onto Steps 5 and 6 and Test Again

Still no resolve - move onto Step 7 and follow instructions therein

1 - Restart in Safe Mode. This will perform a Disk Repair, clear cache files and only load Apple Software, extensions and fonts. The boot up will be slow and can take some time - Normal.

2 - Safe Mode will also eliminate Third Party Software, extensions and drivers from loading. It will only load the Minimum amount of Core Apple Processes to allow the the computer to function at a reduced Level of Performance

3 - Does the issue present in this mode ?

4 - Sometimes a Safe Boot followed by a Normal Boot will just put things right.

5 - If not - there could be something in the main User Account playing up. To further isolate this - Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac. Then log out of the Main User account and log into the dummy account and test again if the issue persists.

6 - If the issue is present in the dummy account - then, this appears to be a System Wide issue on the computer.

7 - Download the Application Etrecheck directly from the Developer.

This is a Diagnostic Tool that makes no changes to the computer.

It makes a coherent and readable inventory of both the Hardware and Software used on the computer

The application is free or paid from added features.

Without knowing which apps you have installed I'm going to offer a generic answer.

  • If you have any anti-virus / clean-up / VPN apps installed uninstall them using the developer's instructions, they are not required and can cause issues like those described.
  • Start up in Safe Mode and see if the problem goes away, if it does it suggests you have a startup item which is causing the problem and you can disable them and then enable one at a time with a restart in between to check for problems.
  • Uninstall all third party apps and then install them one at a time with testing in between to highlight any rogue apps.
