My whole family is on the same Apple ID - can I seperate it?

My whole family (4 people) are all on the same apple ID. All of our iphones and ipads use the same apple ID. For myself personally, I created a new one that I use for my Mac and iPad. I want to change my phone to be on my own (the same one my mac and ipad are on), but is there a way to do that without losing everything? My main concern is photos and contacts. Is there a way I could save those on my mac potentially? If I login to my personal apple id on my phone, I assume I will lose everything.

iPhone 14, iOS 16

Greetings allywilliams3,

It sounds like you want to transfer your data to your new Apple ID. We know how important this is for you, and we will help get you to the right place for answers.

Follow the steps in this support article to transfer your photos and videos to your computer:

Transfer photos and videos from your iPhone or iPad to your Mac or PC - Apple Support

Then the steps here to import your contacts into Contacts on your Mac:

Once transferred and imported, you then can sync your data to your iPhone once your Apple ID has been changed:

You may also set up Family Sharing with your family. More info about this can be found here:

Cheers.
