iPhone 11 not accepting password, nor can I hard restart/erase content
I have two phones, 14 I use all the time, old 11 I use when in Spain. In Spain, the 11 won’t accept the passcode. I have tried the hard reset, makes no difference. Another suggestion was to remove the 11 from my profile (done), then erase all content/settings and start again - I can get to this instruction, asks for my Apple ID/password which I can enter. Then get the dialogue box asking me to confirm I want to proceed to erase everything, but when I press proceed, nothing at all happens.
I have an iPad Pro with me, but it seems I can’t reset the phone by connecting to this and using iTunes. Could I use any MAC to try and do this or am I stumped until I go back to the UK in 5 weeks? Any help would be very much appreciated.
