I just got a new phone but now my imessage is not working
When I want to send a message, it says there is an error and that my account is signed out of imessage and that i may miss messages as a result

Go to settings>messages and make sure iMessages is enabled, that the the switch is green. Then click "send and receive" right under that and make sure that your phone number has a check mark next to it.
