If I start using my family iCloud storage will my 160gb of photos be moved across from my old personal iCloud account?

Will the data I have already backed up on my personal iCloud be transferred to my shared family storage?

Backup data will not transfer from one iCloud Account to another.

But when you use iCloud Family Storage you are not changing your iCloud Account so all your data will remain with you on Family Storage.
