After updating to iOS 16.6.1, almost all of my Notes have disappeared! I did not accidentally delete them, I’ve checked my settings to make sure everything is turned on and nothing I’ve tried has worked so far. Help!

I have the solution!!! This just happened to me with the iOS17 update. I spoke with Apple Support 4 times and the last young lady suggested I reset my phone to the last backup that I had my notes so I did and my notes reappeared BUT for less than a minute then they disappeared again! Long story short I reset my phone 3 times until I realized if I moved quick enough I could do edit, select all notes and move them to my iCloud. They are still there! I hope this helps someone. None of the other options helped me. BTW my notes were connected to my gmail account and they were not in the notes folder in Gmail or in the trash.
Same thing happened to me. Can you tell me where to look on my yahoo account?
Yahoo is working on a fix, hopefuly they will have it resolved soon.

Why does my yahoo mail account effect my notes - they should not have any effect to what i store on my phone other than to my mail account.
