Notes disappeared after update

I lost my notes data on my iPhone 14 after software update. No notes appear.

Please help me to restore notes

I have tried this however it didn’t bring back the notes that were not backed up as I don’t have a computer or laptop. Is there a way to get them back?🙏🙏. It had ALL my passwords for the movie channels and personal information and birthdays 😭

To retrieve iPhone notes that have disappeared: In your Settings app, tap on your name. Tap iCloud. Tap Show All. Tap Notes. Make sure Sync this iPhone is toggled on. These steps will restore your notes from iCloud. If you’ve lost notes that were not backed up to iCloud, you’ll need to restore an iPhone backup, as mentioned above.

I lost all my notes. They are not backed up to Icloud and I do not have a yahoo e-mail address…..please help.

After updating to iOS 16.6.1, almost all of my Notes have disappeared! I did not accidentally delete them, I’ve checked my settings to make sure everything is turned on and nothing I’ve tried has worked so far. Help!

I followed these instructions and it worked fine. I have 17.4.1 update installed.

What if you don't have a yahoo account? I only have gmail.

I had same problem and was terrified I’d lost all my notes. I followed kb1951 advice and it worked like a charm. I didn’t find them in my iPhone yahoo email but needed to use my laptop to access the yahoo email, but they were all there. I didn’t see a way to restore them to my iPhone notes, so I placed them on my laptop. I’m sure the other suggestion from MaxGabriel1219 would have worked if I used my iCloud, which I don’t. So thank you for the help and I hope you’re able to get your notes back. Lesson learned about iPhone updates. 😕

I have the solution!!! This just happened to me with the iOS17 update. I spoke with Apple Support 4 times and the last young lady suggested I reset my phone to the last backup that I had my notes so I did and my notes reappeared BUT for less than a minute then they disappeared again! Long story short I reset my phone 3 times until I realized if I moved quick enough I could do edit, select all notes and move them to my iCloud. They are still there! I hope this helps someone. None of the other options helped me. BTW my notes were connected to my gmail account and they were not in the notes folder in Gmail or in the trash.

Hey Maziar123, I went to settings, general, transfer or reset iPhone, erase all content and settings. After the phone resets and u put your iCloud information in it will ask u if u want to restore your phone from a backup u have. I clicked on backup from another date and I restored my phone to the date I knew I had all my notes. I realllly hope this helps u. I was so lost without my notes lol.

Same thing happened to me. Can you tell me where to look on my yahoo account?

Why does my yahoo mail account effect my notes - they should not have any effect to what i store on my phone other than to my mail account.
