Notes have disappeared on my iPhone but not my Mac

Most of my notes on my iPhone have disappeared but they are still on my Mac. How do I get them back on my phone

iPhone 13, iOS 16

Open the Settings app on your iPhone. Your Apple id should be clearly at the top, but details may vary with your iPhone model or iOS version. I only have an oldish iPhone, without access to more recent versions like iOS 16.

Yes; click on that area to see all the settings; scroll down CLICK iCloud: and make sure that Notes are activated.

Make sure that your iPhone is logged in to iCloud with your Apple ID.

My apple ID is at the top....along with iCloud, Media and Purchases.....so does that mean I am logged into iCloud with my apple iD?
