Connecting to Icloud.com via BT broadband.

I use a PC connected to the internet via BT Broadband. Recently I have been unable to connect to icloud.com getting "iCloud encountered an error while trying to connect to the server.

If however I connect my PC to the internet via my Iphone's mobile signal or a BT Wifi hotspot the icloud .com connection works!

Neither apple support or BT support have been able to help. any suggestions?

Lots of us have had this problem since August. There's two fixes that work, which you can try:

If you have Intel Killer Intelligence Centre on your PC, turn off the Prioritisation Engine within its settings.
If you don't have Intel Killer, turn off IPV6 in your network adaptor settings.

These are temp solutions until Intel and Apple/iCloud sort it out between them with an update to their apps.
