Stop splitting videos in two when you minimize it

I don't know how to explain this issue better than this. But EVERYTIME that I minimize a fullscreen video in safari, the video splits in two. I thought that I was seeing double, but no, this is apparently a 'feature' that some insane person added to the browser.

How do I disable this, so that videos will minimize NORMALLY again?

This is rather unpleasant for my eyes.

Go to YouTube. Click on any video to play it. Click on the fullscreen button. Hit escape to exit fullscreen again. As you can clearly see, there's a weird effect that causes the screen to split up. I'm sorry, but I don't know how else to describe it? It's highly unpleasant and it's actually causing me motion sickness.

I have had this issue on both an iMac as well as a MacBook. I'm not having double vision. Something is causing the screen to split whenever I minimise or maximise a video.

This is how it looks, if I try to minimise or maximise a video on YouTube. As you can clearly see, the image is split.

I didn't do this, it was like this when I bought my MacBook.
