My iPhone 14 Pro has a small chip on its telephoto camera lens

My iPhone 14 Pro has a small, but relatively deep, chip on its telephoto camera lens. I have tried to clean it off, but it is definitely a scratch.

What are my options for repair here, and is it necessary?

That is not the lens, it is a protective glass cover. If you don't see any defects or small defects that don't bother you in your pictures, then I wouldn't bother replacing it.

If the defect is noticeable enough in the pictures, then make an appointment at the Genius Bar to have it fixed.
