Erased disk but can’t reinstall Mac hd, I only see base system in disk utility
lost Log in passcode when mother died. Tried to erase Mac hd in disk utility. When I go to reinstall it I only see base system.

It’s a mac a1312
Question marked as
Look for the View button and select Show All Devices.
If you then get a device, select it and Erase. Use GUID partition Map and APFS format.
Base System is the Recovery volume.
