Apple TV App Problems on Firestick: Video Not Available message

I just talked to a rep for my follow up call and she told me to call Amazon because Apple TV is not aware of any issue. I just wish they could get on one accord with messaging. I contacted Amazon and they told me they are aware of the issue and have contacted Apple, he told me to check back in a couple of days. I have scheduled another follow up call with Apple.

We have several fire sticks. The problem on our end appears to be limited to the fire stick 4K. The fire stick 4K max doesn’t have this issue. Hopefully if Apple and or Amazon are reading these posts, they’ll see that and it will help them with their fix.

I use a Firestick to stream Max, SHO, Hulu Netflix, etc. Only Apple TV+ stopped working a couple of days ago, all the other streaming services are perfect. With Apple TV+ 30 seconds into any program I get the "Video Not Available" message. When I bypass Firestick and watch Apple TV+ through my Samsung TV directly, I can watch Apple TV+ without this interruption. I've rebooted, disconnected, uninstalled, a zillion times, and same old, same old. It's definitely an issue with Firestick. I get Apple TV+ just fine on my Samsung (without using Firestick), my iphone, my ipad, and my PC. I spent an hour with Apple chat tonight and am supposed to get a next level person call tomorrow. It's firestick and they need to figure that out.

I was having the same problem, it was on a newer version of the firestick. I reconnected my older firestick and the problem was gone. So I believe it is a problem between Apple TV and the newer version of the firestick

Same problem as above, just started 3 days ago. I I uninstalled Apple TV & reinstalled. I also Restarted the firestick, nothing worked. I spoke to Apple' TVs tech people and they couldn't help. They confirmed it was happening with Firestick and Roku. They said to go to amazon.com/firetv/contact-us to make Amazon aware and then Amazon will contact them to repair. I can't find anywhere to get help or report on the website they suggested.

I have two fire sticks, both the same version. Appletv works on one but not the other. The memory on the not working fire stick is down to just under 2 gb and no matter what I uninstall, the available memory doesn’t budge. So wondering if the fire stick is glitching.

I ran the Amazon Fire Stick update that was made available last night and it solved the problem!

I use HDMI CEC with my HDMI splitter so I didn't want to turn that off. Thankfully, I don't have to.

I contacted Apple support. They are aware of the problem. I also contacted Amazon and they are looking into the issue. I can view on my iPhone and my laptop with no problem.

Latest Firestick update fixed this. I updated at 9:30 pm PST on 9/17/2023 and the AppleTV+ app now works on my firestick 4K

Same issue, super frustrating. I just restarted My Fire TV, now all the shows are steaming fine like before.

Same here, started on Sunday, has continued up to today. Done all of the same steps you have, and am getting extremely frustrated. About to cancel my subscription since this is just a waste of my time and money at this point.

I am also having that problem. I have unplugged the fire stick & modem, forgot and reconnected the internet, cleared data/cache, deleted and reinstalled the app, reset the Apple TV app within Apple TV, did video troubleshooting within Apple TV (it says I have no problem), and checked to make sure my fire stick and app are up to date. They are…. This has been an issue for 24 hours too :(

9/14 - been having this same issue for the past couple of days. Tried all of the resets: modem, network, firestick, deleted and reinstalled app, cleared cache, all firmware is up to date, internet speed 300Mbps. Nada...
