That's correct. You would either need to go to Canada to pick up the phone or have it shipped to a legitimate address in Canada (not a P.O. Box or re-shipper).

No. You can’t do that. The shipping address and billing address for the card must be in the same country where the device is being sold if you’re ordering online.

As far as having it re-shipped out of the country, that would be a violation of Apple’s terms. Apple will not ship to known forwarding addresses.

i live in the UK. i have e-sim in my iPhone for more than a year. my e-sim failed whilst i on holiday in France. no network coverage at all. O2 is part of TELEFONICA my network provider. they are unable to repair or replace e-sim, whilst i am abroad. they also unable to reactivate the original physical sim with my mobile number. i am unable to use banking apps since i am unable to enter security codes they sent via SMS. my ccard was blocked for several days because of this. i have spend five days on the land line phone in the place i am staying trying to sort out. i spend 3 hours in Nice Apple store. i am still unable to use Volt to deliver food to my disabled mother.
