Unsupported System Extensions.

A Notice came up on my screen that I have programs (or apps) that use unsupported system extensions. Why doesn't Apple tell us users what the programs are that are using the out of date extensions.  We may not actually need to use them.

Because Apple doesn't know. Those old kernel extensions were not necessarily tied to any particular app. In many cases, if you can tell us what kernel extensions you have installed, we can tell you what software is involved, but not always.

Does it really matter? While the pop-ups are annoying, you'll find out what apps are affected eventually. They will just stop working one day. Be careful with those upgrades. 😄
