New Feature - Allow gifs to loop only a couple times

When keeping Messages open, and receiving a message with an animated gif, it is distracting to see the image looping forever in peripheral vision.

Please add an option/setting to stop gifs from looping after a couple times. Clicking the should cause it loop again a few times.

I photos slideshow is frustrating I add text on my slideshow, then when I log out the text disappears. Then, I decided to delete all text in my slideshow, but the text returns when I re-open. Swipe to Delete Messages in MacOS26.2 Swipe to delete messages in MacOS26.2 is not working. When I re-start the application, it works again for a short period of time. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?
