my time to leave option is missing in calendar app. Tried everything that is widely discussed on the internet. (Privacy setting etc) Haven’t used this option quite in a while so I don’t know since when it is missing.

We understand you would like to get help with your calendar events and we can assist you.
If you have all your settings correct, it might be an issue with your address.
Make sure to enter in an address that's recognized in Calendar as a valid Maps location.
When you search, you should see the address appear and you can tap to select the Maps locations that you need to set Time to Leave for.
