My ipad was stolen and can’t track it anymore using find my application, therefore cannot erase or find its location. It’s also disconnected from the list of my visible devices. What can I do?

I was able to see the device temporarily for a few days and it’s location but after then it disappeared and got disconnected, can’t see anymore on the map, can’t erase it, can’t access it. It got lost around 2 months ago

iPad Pro, iPadOS 16

Hello AntonyManyara,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!

If you're no longer seeing the device listed in the Find My app, you will no longer have the ability to remotely erase it as that would indicate that it's been removed.

If you haven't already you'll want to reach out to your local authorities to report is as stolen as outlined here: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen - Apple Support

Cheers!
